The product's title and description clearly state that it can be used for both hot (microwave heating) and cold therapy (refrigeration). However, upon receiving the product, I discovered a warning insert inside the box advising against using it for hot therapy.
The mask doesn't fit properly! It completely covers my mouth, but the opening for my mouth ends up on my chin. Furthermore, the mask only stays cold for about half an hour. It would be more effective to use a regular cold pack.
I was extremely disappointed when I received this product and discovered that it cannot be placed in the freezer, despite being advertised as an ice mask. I purchased it specifically to use as an ice pack for my face following jaw surgery.
I wish the temperature was lower when I take it out of the freezer. I always keep it in my freezer, and it should be colder.
I tried using the beaded side of this product to cool myself, but it didn't work as expected. Additionally, the cooling effect didn't last for a long time. Unfortunately, I prefer not to return items that I have already used, otherwise I would have returned it.
